Lamb stew with potatoes in Crock-Pot slow cooker

The lamb is portioned, cleaned and washed.

This recipe for potato stew (food) is extremely easy to prepare. I used new potatoes, because it is their season and I like to use seasonal products.

It is a healthy recipe, in which I used very little oil. Even as a way of cooking, using a Crock-Pot Slow Cooker, it is a much healthier way to prepare a meal, because with its help we have slow cooking, a much healthier and tastier way.

In addition, the suggestion of this potato stew with oriental flavors cooked at Slow Cooker Crock-Pot 4.7 Digital it is suitable at the beginning of the season when high temperatures will want to keep us away from the stove or oven.

With the help of this appliance we cook without heating the house, without having to sit and watch the food, being able to solve other important tasks during this time.

The cooking system used by Slow Cooker Crock-Pot 4.7 Digital is slow and highlights all the flavors of the food used.

Fortunately, I have one at home and I'm glad I can cook in it soups, stews, steak, but also dessert. The good part is that it consumes less electricity than an oven, even if we have a longer cooking time.

Returning to the potato stew with oriental flavors, I would like to tell you that it is probably the most fragrant and delicate potato stew I have ever made.

The main spice of this potato stew with oriental flavors is called Ras el Hanout. You can find it in any supermarket.

This is a mixture of spices used in the Middle East and North Africa. The meaning of the name of this spice is & # 8220 the best in the store & # 8221 and it expresses everything that a spice seller can best offer. Generally used for lamb, couscous or rice, it can flavor other vegetable or meat dishes.

It generally contains cumin, ginger, pepper, paprika, coriander, cardamom, nutmeg, cumin, cloves, chili, rose petals and lavender. Each manufacturer or seller has their own recipe to combine and bring the best.

That's why I chose to use this special spice in an extremely simple potato stew. We don't need many ingredients.

I also left you a picture of my Crock Pot. He has been doing his job so well for so many years that it seems to me that he should not be absent from a housewife's house.

INGREDIENT:

750 ml clear vegetable soup & # 8211 hot

1 teaspoon Ras el Hanout

1/4 teaspoon seasoning 7 peppers

1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika

green parsley or green coriander to serve

I peeled the potatoes. If they are small they will be left whole, if they are big they will be cut in half or quarters.

I hardened the finely chopped onion in the hot oil. When it became soft I added the spices.

I mixed until I obtained a homogeneous composition, then I added the crushed garlic by pressing / grinding.

I boiled the clear vegetable soup with saffron and poured it over the flavored onion.

After arranging the potatoes in the Crock-Pot, I poured the onion-flavored soup, added a little salt and mixed.

I set the Crock-Pot to HIGH cooking mode for a period of 3 hours. I put the lid on and let it do its job.

After this time we all ate potato stew with oriental flavors with a little sprinkled green parsley.
